Context
Pinnacle Furniture designs and fits furniture for educational settings across the UK, working with clients ranging from prestigious private educational institutions to primary schools and further education colleges. After years of growth, the brand needed an identity that could reflect the breadth of their work and signal a more considered, contemporary presence in the market.
Challenge
Pinnacle's audience spans the full spectrum of education — from formal, heritage-led institutions where the brand needs to feel refined and credible, to younger, more expressive environments where it needs to feel approachable and energetic. The challenge was to create an identity flexible enough to operate across both worlds without losing coherence or compromising on craft.
Solution
We built the identity around a modular monogram — a "P" formed from a semicircle and rectangle that fit together like component parts, echoing the construction and assembly at the heart of Pinnacle's work. The mark carries a quiet playfulness while remaining structurally precise, allowing the system to flex between formal and expressive applications without breaking. The result is an identity that feels grown-up and considered, but never rigid — capable of speaking to a head teacher, a procurement officer, or a primary school child with equal confidence.
